Full European coverage is necessary to scientifically analyse and compare the different health, social and economic policies of the individual countries as well as to draw policy conclusions. A specific type of EU support for research infrastructures like SHARE, however, is currently lacking. For this reason, we have published a position paper which addresses the current problems and proposes solutions.
